The "Cavalier" line of instruments were made by Conn under the auspices of Conn's Pan American division.
What Cavalier said in 1938:
Gracefully designed, compactly and sturdily built, the Cavalier Mellophone will give long, satisfactory
service. Has a full, rich tone, accurate intonation and a light, fast valve action that is a revelation.
Made in F with an extra crook for change to Eb. The instrument is light, perfectly balanced, has a 10½"
bell and refinements found on few mellophones at this price. Supplied with accessories in formed crushed
plush lined case.
