The 92L French horn type Baritone Bugle had a piston valve to put the instrument in D. Also sold under the Leedy & Ludwig brand. The bore is 0.468" (#2).

What Conn said in 1950:
The French horn type Baritone Bugle is new and different. [The] 92L adds 5 notes to the baritone bugle range. It also has a French horn quality of tone which is being used effectively to contrast with the tone of the other bugles and add beautiful effects.
