Conn 6B Triumphal or Herald Trumpet
Date: 1921, Owned by Tom Doremus
The 6B Herald has a #1½ Bore (0.458") and was produced from around 1921 to 1932. The instrument pictured here matches the one in the Conn catalogs of the 1920's. It doesn't appear to match Conn's 1919 catalog, so that must have been a previous model.
What Conn said in 1926:
The Triumphal or Herald Trumpet is most effective in vaudeville and fanfare opera, and in pitch
it is the same as the regular Bb Trumpet.
