Conn 4B Symphony
Date: 1921. Instrument owned by Paul Ayick
For a 1920's Conn trumpet, this instrument has one unusual feature: a finger hook on the leadpipe. Except for the 2B, most Conn trumpets of the day didn't have one. The finger hook is almost certainly a later addition. The owner of this instrument, Paul Ayick is convinced of that, and I agree. The 4B has a #1½ bore (0.459").
