The Conn Loyalist

The Elkhart Band Section

Introduction
Quoting Wikipedia:
The Elkhart Band instrument company was founded in 1923 by Andrew Hubble Beardsley who was the president of Buescher Band Instrument Company, and Carl Dimond Greenleaf, president of C. G. Conn, and who served the new company as secretary-treasurer.

In 1927 the company was merged with Buescher (some maintain that Buescher was purchased by Elkhart Band Instrument). When Beardsley died in 1936, Buescher began using the Elkhart Band Instrument trademark on a line of instruments until 1958.
