Conn 14B 2½ Bore C Trumpet

This is a very rare instrument: the 2½ bore C trumpet, model 14B. It was made from 1926 to 1930. The one pictured here is the only one I know about at the time of this writing (October 2009). The #2½ bore size translates as a 0.484" bore. This instrument shows similarities to the 2B New World Symphony which at the time was Conn's top of the line instrument and was also first produced in 1926.
